NVF Buying Cooperative will slowly develop a network of NVF Superstore pick-up locations through out the Valley. From Calistoga to American Canyon, our community will be able to go in and select their own produce, pull their orders, or just pick up their order. Very similar to Amazons failed autonomous shopping stores located in the heart of big cities; our locations will provide the experience without the city. Smart yet old fashioned. Relying on our community to make it work!
Superstore Options
Yes, Our Options are limited only by Permitting. We would like to have a full cold room for produce , a section for 55°F products and other case goods, a section for glass door freezers. We’d like to also have a storage area for pick-ups, and a produce stand on one end for Non Members. Each Kiosk Style Super Center would be roughly 2,200 Square Foot.
These cooler can be powered solar for lights, some refrigeration 37T at 35F which under best case scenario can power the cooler area. The remainder will need to be covered by either line power or a generator. 500SqFt of the Cooler area will be 35°F, the remainer will be 55°F, the 160SqFt Freezer with Glass Doors faced towards the cooler area.
